You are your child's first teacher.

Usted es el primer maestro de su niño.

To help parents succeed as their child’s first teacher, it’s important for them to understand how children learn and grow, and how talking, playing, and reading together builds important skills. Parents also learn what children need to know when starting kindergarten. Since 2011, more than 1,100 families have earned certificates through the First Teacher / Primer Maestro™ program.

Para ayudar a los padres a tener éxito como el primer maestro de sus hijos, es importante que entiendan cómo aprenden y crecen los niños, y cómo hablar, jugar y leer juntos ayuda a desarrollar habilidades importantes. Los padres también aprenden qué necesitan saber los niños al comenzar el kínder. Desde 2011, más de 1,100 familias han recibido certificados a través del programa First Teacher / Primer Maestro™.

Class Lengths/ Duración de las clases

Classes are 2 intensive hours for 3 days and are ideal for childcare workers and young families. We also provide a 16 week course that is is a perfectly slow pace with in-depth instructions.

Las clases tienen una duración de dos horas intensivas durante tres días y son ideales para cuidadores de niños y familias jóvenes. También ofrecemos un curso de 16 semanas con un ritmo pausado y explicaciones detalladas.
